Overview
Senior IT Specialty Analyst position supporting Workday ERP with focus on Supply Chain configuration and report writing. The role creates and maintains Workday configuration for Supply Chain Procurement, Inventory, Sourcing and Analytics teams among other divisions within Sentara.
A strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes and Workday Financials, Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, Procurement are required to fulfill demand and support customers. In this role the analyst is expected to interact with Workday community and other support resources to deliver solutions. Experience with Healthcare Supply Chain, Workday EIB, creating calculated fields, Business Process Configuration, Custom Validation and Workday Worksheets required.
This role will interact directly with customers, peers and supporting divisions to gather requirements, educate customers on solutions and validate requested changes. Clear communication with the goal of understanding is required through direct and indirect channels.
The Analyst follows existing change control processes, uses Service Now on a daily basis to intake and track work, is skilled in executing migration between environments, testing lifecycle and adheres to standards defined by leadership and ERP governance.
This is a remote position with occasional in person site visits and team meetings.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
or
- Experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- Required to have 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- Required to have 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- Required to have experience with MS Excel
- Required to have experience with configuration in Workday, business processes, and custom validation
- Required to have experience with Healthcare Supply Chain, Workday EIB, creating calculated fields, Business Process Configuration, Custom Validation, and Workday Worksheets
- Required to have strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
