AvMed, a division of Sentara Health Plans in the Florida market, is hiring an Onsite Client Management Lead. This is a hybrid position, 2 days onsite in our Doral Office, 1 day in Sunrise and 2 days remote.
The Client Management Lead supports (Sr.) (Regional) Client Executive and (Sr.) Client Specialist in their strategies to retaining profitable business in the Large Group segment. Interact with Consultants, Brokers, Benefit Administrators and Optima Health business units to achieve these objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops and maintains relationships with customer groups, brokers, and consultants. Develop and maintain relationships with client administrators, staff members and employees. Deliver an exceptional client/member experience demonstrating AvMed’s service standards and values. Interact with consultants and health care coalitions, as required. Responsible for providing personal on-site assistance to employees and administrators with any inquiries about the client’s Health Plans.
- Resolves day to day client issues by evaluating situation, determining when to escalate and recommending solutions. Serves as liaison between the client and AvMed departments to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client and member issues. Provides clarification and education to the client on AvMed products, policies, and procedures. Monitor membership eligibility, reconcile discrepancies, provide COBRA administration, & perform audits as needed.
- Handles more complex and critical client issues.
- Supports the Client Management in planning and coordinating annual renewal process and accomplishing or exceeding retention and growth goals related to assigned commercial accounts.
- Assists in open enrollment meetings to familiarize existing/potential members with the benefits offered and procedures required. Facilitate enrollment and coordinates documentation. Facilitates wellness initiatives such as fairs, meetings, etc. Visit assigned clients on a scheduled basis.
- Accomplishes or exceeds retention, profitability and growth goals related to assigned commercial accounts. Contribute to the development of innovative Client Management initiatives which add value and provide a differentiated service advantage. Contribute operational input to product development processes and advertising plans. Provide product enhancement and development recommendations.
- Submits weekly, monthly, periodic, and special reports.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree and 1 years related experience required OR HS graduate and 5 years related experience required.
Certifications:
- Must obtain 240 or 215 license within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Experience:
- 5 years of related experience includes Administrative, Business Acumen, Customer Relations, Employee Benefits and Health Insurance Industry.
Preferred Requirements:
- 2 years’ sales experience preferred.
- Solid understanding and application of strategic account management skills.
- Knowledge of HMO/group health insurance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple functions and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to work with the public, both face-to-face, and over the phone.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with other departments.
- Ability to effectively manage and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to think creatively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and fundamental software.
