What makes the Dedicated Care Center unique? We are Sentara’s only concierge practice. We pride ourselves in being able to dedicate more time to spend with our patients by having smaller panel sizes. We offer weekday office hours (which means no weekends), potential for staff to earn monthly incentives and each staff member has their own personal office!

Overview
Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Education
- High School Graduate or equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT) required
Experience
- Required to have one year of clinical/administrative experience
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting or one year experience as an EMT, Paramedic, and/or Corpsman preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred, plus experience with electronic medical records.
