Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a HEDIS Quality Coordinator/Administrative Assistant!
Status: Full time position (40 hours)
Standard working hours: Dayshift, 7:30am to 4pm EST.
Location: Applicants must live in Virginia. Need to go as needed (approx. 1 a year).
Required Qualifications
-
High School Grad or Equivalent
-
One-year customer service experience required
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Medical Records Preferred
-
One-year experience in a member and/or provider engagement role preferred
-
Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial experience/knowledge highly preferred
Special skills and/or knowledge:

Analytical skills – proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel

Primary responsibilities include:

Providing "best in class" service and is the first point of contact, ambassador and concierge for assigned region/membership

Utilizes skills to retain members in the assigned provider practices and supports new membership after the initial enrollment period

Coordinates in office wellness events as a result of interventions management to improve gap closures in the field
-
Coordinates with Health Education and contacts members telephonically to schedule them for appointments

Participates in the Member Advisory and Provider Advisory Meetings as needed
-
Maintains superior member/provider relationships and ensures the highest quality of care coordination.
