Sentara Health is currently recruiting for an Echocardiographer for the Noninvasive Lab at Sentara OBICI in Suffolk, Virginia!    

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our expert team specializing in:

• 2-D Echo
• TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms)
• Stress Echos
• Image-Enhancing Agents

*$20,000 Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available for qualified candidates!*

Schedule:

• Three-week repeating schedule with required weekend shifts one weekend every 3 weeks. M-F 0700- 1630; Weekend Hours: 0700–1100.
• On-call Requirements: One week every 9th week. M-F 1630 to 0700 and weekend call – 1100 to 0700
   

Overview:

Echocardiographer will performs two dimensional echocardiograms, 3D, Doppler Ultrasound, Holter Monitor, transesophageal echocardiograms, and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Level Degree, Associate's Level Degree – CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY OR High School Diploma.
• Echo Tech experience in lieu of education: Yes 
• New Graduated Echocardiography will be considered.
• Basic Life Support Required
• Adult echocardiography registry (ARDMS, RDCS or RCS) required within 12 months of hire.
