The Observation Short Stay Unit is 24 beds with the most common diagnosis being post surgical patients requiring an overnight stay – hips, knees, spine, bariatric surgery to name a few.

• Desired Nurse/Pt ratio – 1:5
• Additional support staff include: Adm/Discharge RN, Orthopedic Navigator, Mobility Tech, PCT/LPNs
• Fast paced

As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career.
