Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Mobility Tech.

Shift/Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Days, 7am-7pm

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Basic Life Support

Position Overview:

The Mobility Technician is responsible for assisting clinical staff and members of the inter-professional healthcare team, as assigned, under the direct supervision of clinical staff within inpatient setting.

This position performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to:

• patient mobility

• infection control processes

• assisting patients in practicing exercises or functional activities

• transporting patients to and from treatment areas,

• inspecting and maintaining equipment, and a variety of basic clerical functions supporting clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans.
