Sentara Obici is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team!

SHIFT: Full-Time; M-F 7:30am – 4:30pm; Call Required.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction.
Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic field which includes 1 years of experience in long-term monitoring for epilepsy.
- 1 year experience in Neurodiagnostic field in lieu of Trade School
- Credential in long-term monitoring (CLTM*) or CLTM Eligible. (Meets Job Experience Requirements)
