Velocity Urgent Care (now solely owned by Sentara Health) is actively looking for qualified Radiologic Technologists. As a Radiologic Technologist with Velocity, you will work directly with a Provider Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.
Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.
Required Qualifications:
- AART Certification Required – Registry eligible graduate acceptable in lieu of cert
Schedule: Clinic hours – 8:00a.m. – 8:00p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday, 8am-4pm. Scheduled hours and shifts may vary based on business need and candidates availability.
