Shift:
Full Time (4 10's starting at either 7a or 9a)
Rotating Shift
Surgical Assistant Qualifications:
- Virginia Surgical Assistant License/Registration REQUIRED
- National Certification REQUIRED
- Completion of Surgical Assistant program REQUIRED
- PRIOR SA experience STRONGLY PREFERRED

This exceptional facility carries on Sentara Norfolk General's tradition for cardiac excellence by consistently ranking among the nation's top 50 heart programs in the U.S. News & World Report's annual hospital rankings.
The cardiothoracic operating room is part of the surgical services team that treat open-heart (cardiothoracic) patients. We are made up of five operating rooms which includes a hybrid OR. We handle 8+ OR cases daily.
