Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Cardiac Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Sentara Heart Hospital's CVOR that is located on the campus of Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia
*Up to a $25,000 sign on bonus for Cardiac-Experienced Surgical Technologist candidates!
Shift:
Full Time, First Shift. 4 10-hr shifts.
Hours rotate between 7-5 and 9-7, typically only one 9-7 per week.
Call required.
REQUIREMENTS:

Prior Cardiac experience STRONGLY PREFERRED. If no cardiac experience, candidates with 5+ years main OR experience preferred

Surgical Technologist Virginia License/Registration REQUIRED

Surgical Technologist National Certification REQUIRED

Completion of a Surgical Technologist program REQUIRED

The cardiothoracic operating room is part of the surgical services team that treat open-heart (cardiothoracic) patients. We are made up of five operating rooms which includes a hybrid OR. We handle 8+ OR cases daily.
