Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, located in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring a Patient Access Representative – Full Time Rotating schedule.
Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:00pm, every occasional weekend rotation. Incumbent will work at the Proffit Road location as well as the Free Standing Emergency Department.
As a Patient Access Rep with Sentara, you will work in the Emergency Department, Patient Registration, or a doctor's office. This position's primary duties include positively identifying the patient, collecting demographic and insurance information, and admitting the patients. This role allows you to work with both clinical and non-clinical staff. If you desire, there are promotional opportunities into a Patient Access Rep II/III, Team Leader, and Team Coordinator.
