Sentara is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 2- our Neuro Oncology unit! This is a full-time Day Shift position in Charlottesville, VA.

Cornell 2: Our Medical/Surgical Unit specializes in Neuro Oncology, urology, vascular, and chest tube care, providing a dynamic environment for experienced nursing professionals and new graduates. With a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5/1:6, you'll develop your skills while receiving mentorship from experienced staff. We care for a diverse patient population, including those with CHF, COPD, oncology patients with neutropenia or new diagnoses, amputations, and tracheostomies. Operating on 12-hour shifts with weekend rotations, we offer comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development to foster collaboration and growth in your nursing career.

As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. There are many different specialties where you can perform and grow your nursing skills in areas of interest to you. Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program

• BSN or MSN preferred.

• Registered Nurse License

• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program. •Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License

• BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
