The Cardiac/VIR Prep and Recovery unit is responsible for prepping and recovering cardiac cath, VIR, and EP patients. ACLS required, strong cardiac background preferred. Operational hours of the department will be 0530 -2030 Monday – Friday. Candidates will be expected to rotate shifts within the operational hours in order to maintain competency of all aspects of care both pre and post procedure.
The RN Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
