Sentara Obici Hospital is recruiting a Vice President of Operations in Suffolk, Virginia!
Sentara Obici Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Suffolk, Virginia. This 172-bed, full-service hospital continues a legacy of providing residents of Western Tidewater with high-quality, patient-centered care. In June 2010, Sentara Obici opened a new three-story, 63,480 square-foot wing, which includes all private beds serving orthopedic, medical and surgical patients and increased the hospital’s bed capacity.
Responsible for the direction/coordination of the business and operational activities of departments assigned. As a member of the executive team, this position is responsible for the direction and oversight of implementing the following items. Implementation of the program development goals as outlined in the strategic plan for the facility. Identification of necessary physician recruitment needs to support plan. Direct oversight for specific departments as outlined in the organizational chart. Responsibility for administrator on-call on a rotating basis.
