Sentara Therapy Center – Coliseum is sensitive to each individuals fitness needs, including the physically limited, the elderly and those in chronic pain. The entire staff of licensed physical therapists and certified athletic trainers is CPR certified and is kept current in up-to-date treatment techniques available to athletes of all abilities. The professionals at Sentara Therapy Center are frequently asked to share their expertise through community education.
As a Physical Therapist (PT) with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. This position's primary duties include transferring, ambulating, assisting with exercises, gait training, stair climbing, and balance.
