Sentara Obici Hospital Emergency Room is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Emergency Room Team!
In this role you will:
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy
- Provide staff consultation/supervision, and education.
- Be responsible for the provision of social work/counseling services to patients receiving care in the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting.
- Assess the social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation, as well as disposition needs, for each assigned patient.
- Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and community agencies to develop and implement plans to address identified needs.
- Evaluate effectiveness of developed plans and initiates change as needed.
Education
- Master’s Level Degree
License Certification
- BLS
- LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
Experience
- Licensed new graduates may be considered
