Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Regional Director of Operations-PACE
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: Onsite at Sentara Park Corporate Office in Norfolk, VA
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Position Summary:
The PACE Regional Director is responsible for the effective planning, leadership, development, organization, administration, and evaluation of Sentara PACE’s operations. Ensures decisions about medical, social, and supportive services are not unduly influenced by the fiscal manager. Ensure appropriate personnel perform their functions and inform employees and contract providers of all PACE policies and procedures.
The PACE Regional Director collaborates closely with the Medical Director to review and improve clinical care for participants and overall program needs. This role is responsible for the delivery of cost-effective health care services to PACE participants. Ensure adequate strategic plans are developed, implemented and reviewed against performance through effective short- and long-term planning.
The PACE Regional Director is responsible for growth of the business line, budgeting, finances and working with vendors in addition to fostering relationships with the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:

Develops, executes, and administers efficient and effective PACE models that support Sentara’s purpose, values, and strategic initiatives. Provides the management oversight for operational performance, growth, and direction for the PACE programs of Sentara, the capitated managed care system serving the frail elderly in the community. Manages 2 locations and will build additional sites as approved.

Develops and manages budgets. Expands provider network to improve access by adding new services; executes and oversees all provider contracts

Maintain compliance with CMS, DMAS, and DSS regulations through understanding requirements, revising policies, creating, and facilitating education and training, monitoring and follow up on changed processes. Achieves acceptable results on surveys from local, state, and federal agencies.

Builds highly reliable teams and develops clinical tactics to implement strategies to better integrate and deliver high-value patient care, including nursing/caregiver services, clinical workflows, IT solutions, and interventions to manage complex care patients. Responsible for the development, facilitation and overall coordination of IDT that support effective and consistent outcomes for the lives under management. Manages financial performance in a capitated model, Part D bids, home-based, clinic, and transportation services.

Drives to Top Tier performance against HEDIS, CMS and other publicly reported outcome metrics.

Monitors performance in VBC contracts, industry trends and benchmarks to ensure services and strategies contribute to the highest quality patient care and increased patient loyalty.

Manages all compliance and regulatory standards for a state certified adult day center.
Minimum Requirements:

Master’s Level Degree Required

7 years of Healthcare Leadership experience

PACE director experience, collaboration with CMS, DMAS, and/or DSS strongly preferred.
