- Hands-On Experience: Gain valuable clinical hours while working alongside experienced sleep technologists in our state-of-the-art facilities.
- Pathway to Licensure: As part of this program, you'll work toward earning your Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credentials, which are required within 18 months of hire. After obtaining your RPSGT, you'll have 60 days to secure Virginia State licensure, opening the door to becoming an onboarded Registered Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) at Sentara.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking curious, motivated individuals who:
- Are enrolled in or interested in enrolling in a credentialed sleep program. (STAR PROGRAM)
- Are eager to learn and gain hands-on clinical experience.
- Are committed to achieving their RPSGT credentials within 18 months and pursuing licensure in Virginia.
