Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Wound Ostomy Registered Nurse for a part time, day shift position in Charlottesville, VA. This position is 20 hours per week. The Wound Ostomy RN can expect to see up to 11 patients per shift across the hospital and will be a resource for education for new ostomy patients. The schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, day shift.

Wound Ostomy Registered Nurses provide advanced treatments that maximize the body’s capacity to heal chronic and complex wounds. Our multidisciplinary team includes vascular specialists, general and plastic surgeons, and diabetes and nutrition experts. After comprehensive evaluation, our team offers ongoing assessments and the latest treatment for chronic, complex, or non-healing wounds, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. Our caring and compassionate team works closely with providers at other healthcare facilities and home health services to ensure you receive seamless, coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (WOCN)
- 1 year of clinical experience as an RN.
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse Licensure
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Experience with complex wounds preferred.
